IN-DEPTH Background/personality info on your character, as well as any character development that occurs during the series (Include any changes to fit into the Avoria world~): Natsuo and his partner Youji were created by Nagisa Sagan to be the ultimate fighting team. The first official pair in the Zero series, Natsuo is the Fighter and Youji is the Sacrifice, and the most remarkable thing about Zero is that they don’t feel pain or change in temperature at all. Pain continues to fascinate the duo because it is such a mystery to them. With no way to feel it themselves, Zero inflict as much pain as possible on others, when they feel like it, and watch their reactions to see what it might be like to be in pain themselves.

Zero were created and trained by Nagisa-sensei for one purpose only, and that was to defeat her rival’s best fighter – Soubi Agatsuma, formerly of the Beloved team, but now fighting for the Beloved Sacrifice’s younger brother, Loveless. Nagisa thought that making them unable to feel pain would take away their fear of getting hurt and make them invincible fighters. However, this experiment backfired big time when Soubi used thie lack of sensation against them, when he almost froze Zero to death before they noticed anything was wrong.

After that, Zero officially became strays. Nagisa had made it very clear that if they failed, they were not to return. (Personally, Natsuo doesn’t like Nagsa-sensei very much. 1- because Nagisa-sensei doesn’t like him very much so she’s not very nice to him, and 2-because she dotes on Youji, which he doesn’t appreciate because Youji is his.) When they were defeated, Natsuo tried to find the safest place for Youji and himself to recover, which was… well he couldn’t find one. Taking pity on them, Soubi offered to bring them home. Partly out of curiosity, but mostly because he was worried about Youji, Natsuo reluctantly agreed. Turns out that living with Soubi was pretty fun, even though he’s kind of a pervert… and his friend Kio, who was there all the time, was even more fun because he was easy for Zero to tease. Most importantly, it means that the two of them didn’t have to be separate.

Natsuo and Youji have been together for as long as either of them can remember, and have become so dependant on each other that the best way to describe them separately is probably how one is slightly different than the other. For example: Though their creator Nagisa-sensei prefers both of the boys were cute, matching clothes, Natsuo tends to dress slightly more feminine than Youji. Of the two Zero, Natsuo is also slightly more reserved than Youji, though he in no way misses out on his fair share of blood and torture.

Natsuo sleeps a little more than Youji, Natsuo prefers slightly sweeter foods than Youji, Natsuo is a bit friendlier and subtly flirtatious than Youji, Natuso is a tiny bit more patient than Youji, and if Zero are angry Natsuo is almost guaranteed to stand behind for at least a moment while Youji lashes out first. Conditions, of course, being that Youji is present and unharmed. If either (or worse, both) of these conditions aren’t met, you would have one very pissed and very violent Fighter on your hands.
